Dutch five-piece EUT have dropped a phenomenal new single in ‘Step By Step’. They’ve created music that feels blissful and timeless, with a level of complexity and innovation making its way into a sound which is, adove all, fun. The influence of 90s guitar-pop can be felt in those distant guitar chords and the minimalistic drum pattern, but we’re taken into almost synth-pop territory with the huge melodic chorus. “On previous records, we might have wanted to dance our problems away lyrically and musically. But during the writing process of Be My Reactor, there were a lot of emotionally heavy moments that had to be placed in a song and didn't deserve to be pushed into the background.” Their album, Be My Reactor, is coming up. -Dan Peeke.
